Kisii Junipers is here to ensure that children receive the support they need through effective communication between all parties involved by referring to the guidance and advice from the Charity commissions both in the UK and Kenya.

The charity has 5 trustees whose duty it is to ensure good practice by complying with our legal duties in order that the charity runs effectively and to avoid difficulties as well as basic errors.
Duties of the trustees as emphasised by the Charity Commission
- Ensure the charity is carrying out its purposes for the public benefit
- Comply with the charity’s governing document and law
- Act in the charity’s best interests
- Ensure the charity is accountable
- Manage the charity’s resources responsibly
- Act with reasonable care and skill
Our Beneficiaries
The charity has a clear selection criteria and process for selecting beneficiaries. The beneficiaries are children living with guardians or those living with birth parents with no means whatsoever with which to ensure the education of their children. The school head teacher, the local government official (chief) will be consulted when allocating the funding.
Our Partners
The charity will work with partners in Kenya but due diligent checks will be done to ensure that the partners have the skills and capabilities required to accomplish the mission of the charity.
